Christmas Season
Well it is already the Christmas season and Raelynn is enjoying her first glimpse into the holiday. She loves to play with the tree, including lights and decorations. It is quite the challenge keeping her away from it. We also decorated our house for Christmas. This is our first Christmas in our house and it was so much fun decorating it.

Getting so big!
SITTING UP LIKE A BIG GIRL!
FINALLY LOVIN THE TUMMY!
I can't believe that Raelynn is going to be 5 months old in two weeks. She is rolling around, trying to sit herself up by herself, puts her foot into her mouth, hahaha and talks up a storm for us. She also enjoys being on her belly now, its a miracle. She wouldn't be an Arizona girl of course without her sunglasses.

Loves To Learn
Richard and I have been trying to give Raelynn the opportunity to hear stories every night, and I thought her attention would be somewhere else, however she proved us wrong. She is a very attentive little girl! We also started ABC flashcards and as you can see above with me, she enjoyed it very much.

Rolling Machine!
So Raelynn is going to be 4 months old on Tuesday and she is rolling up a storm now. First she started rolling back to belly about a month ago. She got bored with that and finally a week ago decided she would roll from belly to back. She has been doing it ever since, however she surprised us two days ago by rolling back to belly and then immediately went belly to back. This all happened within a matter of 20 seconds. It was amazing! I can't believe how much she is growing and how strong she is getting.

Raelynn!
It is amazing to see how children learn as a teacher, but what is more amazing is watching your child grow in her development so quickly. When she was born she was so helpless, sitting there looking at us, wondering what we were going to do to help her. Now she looks at us with eyes open wide, sits up on her own, tries to stand, laughs, and even talks up a storm. The transition is amazing. She was this tiny little thing who needed so much support of her body and now is controlling many of her own movements. Being a parent is quite amazing and watching her grow is beyond exciting!
